Soul Care

We understand that not all spiritual experiences take place solely in the corporate chapel settings. The Office of Spiritual Formation works in strategic partnership with everyone in the Vanguard community to support what they are doing to foster spiritual growth. The opportunities for Soul Care can include one-time events (a worship night, a prayer vigil, serving the local community), or can be ongoing opportunities (the weekly prayer movement, dorm floor churches, small groups, support groups, training for a global outreach team or one-on-one counseling).

All Soul Care Options must be pre-approved by submitting a Soul Care Request Form two weeks prior to the event.

For a program to be considered for Soul Care credit it must align with the Spiritual Formation mission statement, be a minimum of 50 minutes in length, have the endorsement of a faculty/staff advisor, and be for a target audience of at least 12 students.
